Croatia and Slovenia were ranked bottom out of 11 central and eastern European countries with regards to economic growth for 2011, reported website Tportal. Croatia recorded 0.2 per cent economic growth last year, putting them behind Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. Unlike all of the other countries, the level of exports in Croatia is still lower than it was in 2008. Croatia is among the few countries where the national currency weakened and fell, and where investments also declined.
