Romanian online retailer eMag plans to enter Poland by acquiring agito.pl. The retailer filed a request for approval in December 2014. eMag operates in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary with estimated sales of EUR 260 million in 2014. With this acquisition, eMag will become one of the largest online retailers in the region.

Agito is a Polish online retailer founded in 2002 and sells a large assortment of non-food goods such as electronics, tools, home and garden, sports items, apparel and children’s goods, but also offers food items.
