French independent retailer Leclerc aims to increase the share of its private labels in Poland to 40-60% of total turnover from its present 18%, reports gazeta.pl. Leclerc recently launched its own Bio Village and Marque Repère brands in Poland, which were previously offered only in the retailer's French stores. Pricing is competitive in comparison to Polish products. The brands are represented across all product categories, but with particular emphasis on wine, cheese, frozen foods and fish.
