X5 has signed an agreement with A Plus Development, an industrial developer, to build a 33,500 square meters distribution center (DC) in Shushary Industrial Park, St. Petersburg, Russia.

X5 will sign a long term lease agreement with the developer, under a built-to-suit scheme. The DC will cater Perekrestok and Karusel stores in St Petersburg and Leningrad Region and is scheduled for completion by end of 2015.
