Migros plans to acquire 130 Tengelmann stores located in Bavaria, South Germany.

Migros acquired 290 Tegut stores located in Central Germany. Tengelmann Group wants to separate its retail business, which generated significant losses in recent years. Earlier in April 2015, German competition authority denied the acquisition of 450 Kaiser’s stores by Edeka.
