A year after forming new buying group, Core, with Colruyt, Conad, Coop (CH), Rewe will leave and set up a new alliance with Lerclerc. Originally the retailers formed the new Buying Group after splitting from Leclerc and the Coopernic alliance over disputes about the future strategic direction of the group and reports of Leclerc negotiating additional bonuses with suppliers on top of the Coopernic conditions.
